STATEMENT REGARDING TO PAT TANAKA'S APPEARANCE WITH ABSOLUTE INTENSE WRESTLING

PUBLIC STATEMENT REGARDING PAT TANAKA AND AIW

KWK Brand is aware of the concerns surrounding Pat Tanaka's recent scheduled appearance with Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW).

First, I want to make clear that KWK Brand did not book or arrange this appearance. The booking was made directly between Pat and AIW.

However, I represent Pat and have an ongoing professional relationship with him, including future bookings. Because of that, I do not want to simply leave him to deal with the situation on his own.

I have spoken directly with Pat about what happened. Based on our conversations, I believe Pat experienced genuine difficulties while traveling and became overwhelmed by the situation. I also believe that the communication during the incident was not handled properly, and I understand why this has created concerns for promoters.

I want to be very clear that I am personally vouching for Pat.

Pat is genuinely sorry about what happened and understands that his handling of the situation created a serious problem for the promotion. He wants to make things right and continue working professionally.

I would like to contact AIW directly to better understand their side and hopefully help facilitate a resolution, but I have not yet been able to connect with the promotion.

Pat has not missed a single event he was booked for over the past several years, which is why we view this as an isolated incident. That does not excuse how the situation was handled, and we want to make amends.

Our hope is to reach out to AIW and, if they are willing, work out a different date for Pat to appear. Pat is willing to travel to the event entirely on his own dime to make this right with AIW, their staff and, most importantly, the fans who were expecting to see him.

We understand that trust is earned through actions, not words. Pat wants the opportunity to show that this was an isolated incident and that he remains committed to fulfilling his professional obligations.
